Beautiful day for family photos

This past weekend I spent the afternoon with the Boyer family.  The rain held off, and the weather was PERFECT.  We started off by doing some of the entire family, and finished by doing some of little Raleigh alone.  Such a happy go lucky family :)  I had a great time with you! Thank you!

 

We took a short break to refuel.  It's always good to schedule your session during a time that you won't feel rushed.  This 5 minute break was just what Raleigh needed to get her smiling again :)

Mya | Kids

I was very happy when Mollie asked me to take photos of Mya again this year.  I just love Mya...she has such a nice personality and is just so much fun.  She left me with a big smile on my face last year, and did the same again this year!

I took a few of Libby as well...she's gotten so big in the last couple of months.  So cute!  Thank you Mollie for the photo session, had a great time with you as always :)

Kristen & Fred | Engaged

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard during a session.  Kristen & Fred are 2 really funny people, and have a way of making you feel comfortable instantly.  They also brought along Shelby, their German Shepard, which I LOVE!  We chose 2 locations - a local park and train tracks that Kristen used to play on when she was little.  Can't wait for their wedding in July...Kristen has some amazing details planned :)

Thank you for a fun session and for bringing Shelby along!  I still can't get over that when you say "Watch me" she actually looks at you. So smart :)  Can't wait for July!!

Adriana & JT | Kids

Rain, rain...and more rain.  It was the weekend where the rain threatened to come down...and then it did over and over again!  Lucky for me, when I asked Nicole if she wanted to reschedule our session she said no.  The rain stopped and we had one of the most relaxing, low key session!  Kids playing in the rain = fun photos and happy kids :)

It's fun watching Adriana and JT grow...a HUGE thank you for Nicole and John for having me take their photos each year! 

Elyse & Luke | Engaged

Ahhhh love...as a friend of mine says "Erica loves love".  So true. I do!  Which is why I was excited for Elyse & Luke's engagement session a few weeks back.  Their wedding is in August and I can't wait to be their photographer.  Elyse is an old friend of my sister...pre-school old :)  I love that I knew her when she was so little, and now I will be photographing her wedding. Elyse has found a great guy, Luke.  These two are so happy together, it's easy to tell <3

So much fun!  Elyse and Luke I am REALLY looking forward to your wedding, it's going to be an amazing day :)  Thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer.
