Baby #2 is on the way! | Maternity

I stepped out of my car and my jaw dropped..."Jenn! You look AMAZING!" At 8 months she looks fit, is glowing and most important: looks so happy.  She is one of those people who will put you in a good mood just by smiling and saying hi to you.  And now her 2nd baby is on the way...any moment now actually!  Jenn purchased my belly + baby package, which gives you discounts for a maternity and newborn session if purchased at the same time.  I am really excited to meet her baby girl in June!

JJ | 3 months!

One of my new offerings this year was a package called Baby's First Year (original, I know).  So far it's taking off! My first package purchaser is a couple that I was hoping would take advantage of this.  I photographed their wedding, maternity session and newborn session...and I really wanted to photograph JJ as he got older.  My wish came true!

JJ turned 3 months in April - getting so big, so fast.  Marissa had him dressed to the 9's in THE cutest outfits :)  Check him out!

Andrea & Shawn | Rock the Dress

Last year I decided to take on weddings...I had 2nd shot for a few photographers and had been getting several requests for me to do weddings.  I took a deep breath and went for it.  While it was a great experience and I loved all of my brides & grooms...I decided at the end of the summer that it just wasn't for me.  High pressure, plus time spent away from my family on the weekends isn't my thing.  I just didn't love it like I love maternity/newborns/kids.

Earlier this year Andrea decided that for her 5 year anniversary gift to herself and her husband she wanted to do a rock the dress session.  I loved it!  All the pretty details and poses, without the stress - yes please!  I highly recommend to all you engaged couples out there, to schedule a portrait session after your wedding...when you can relax and enjoy it a bit more, or if your wedding day just doesn't give you and your photographer enough time for portraits. 

Andrea and Shawn ROCKED this session.  There was sass to be found everywhere we went :)  And we had a blast!
