Amanda & Luke | Rochester, NY wedding photographer

Amanda loves to run.  I mean LOVES to run, as in marathons every year.  I wish I could run more then a few miles before keeling over :)  Every year she takes part in the Walt Disney World Marathon.  Last year, after 26 miles, she had a surprise waiting for her.  Luke, on his knee waiting to propose to her.  Now THAT is a sweet reward for hard work <3  Of course she said yes!

Her wedding had a Disney theme to it, from her shoes to the centerpieces to the music that was played at dinner.  It was her perfect day, it even decided to stop raining for a day so everyone could enjoy the deck at Jack's Place.

We started off getting ready at Amanda's mom (Mama Dron)'s house :)

Amanda let me steal her for a few portraits before moving on with the day.  I love it when brides leave time for photos after they've gotten dressed.  It gives me a chance to take their photo when they are full of excitement and anticipation!

Then we headed to the track...had to get a quick sprint in before heading to the ceremony ;)

Then off to Jack's Place for the ceremony and reception. Here are a few detail shots!

 The ceremony was beautiful...

Followed by a few formals and bridal portraits!

Dinner was delicious as well as the cake...and BEN AND JERRY's ice cream stand :O awesome!

Jen, Amanda's sister and her husband Bob showed off their dance moves. Mom & Dad danced as well...I believe I heard "we did it!" from them as they danced. Their 2 beautiful girls are both married now, congratulations indeed :)

Thank you so much for letting me document your day! <3

Paityn | One!

Oh.My.Goodness...I loved this photo session.  Paityn turned one and lucky me got to take her first birthday portraits.  SO cute...as I kept telling her mom and dad ;)  Take a peek!

Love that smile!  Happy Birthday!

Stress | TIME OUT!

WHEW what a summer...so much fun, lots happening and all of it good!  So really...it's a good stress and today I was feeling it.  Today called for a time out - to do something fun and non work related, for 15 mins.  I grabbed my camera and decided to take photos of things I love around our apartment.  Soon enough we'll be moving and strangely, despite my complaining, I think I'll miss some of the features around this complex.

So clearly the "squiggly" tree is my favorite thing about our complex. Here are a few others...

I realize that whenever I take nature photos it's usually of the same tree, the same branch, the same buds.  But that's ok, because there are a million ways to look at one thing. Like many things in life :)
