Paityn | One!

Oh.My.Goodness...I loved this photo session.  Paityn turned one and lucky me got to take her first birthday portraits.  SO cute...as I kept telling her mom and dad ;)  Take a peek!

Love that smile!  Happy Birthday!

Stress | TIME OUT!

WHEW what a summer...so much fun, lots happening and all of it good!  So really...it's a good stress and today I was feeling it.  Today called for a time out - to do something fun and non work related, for 15 mins.  I grabbed my camera and decided to take photos of things I love around our apartment.  Soon enough we'll be moving and strangely, despite my complaining, I think I'll miss some of the features around this complex.

So clearly the "squiggly" tree is my favorite thing about our complex. Here are a few others...

I realize that whenever I take nature photos it's usually of the same tree, the same branch, the same buds.  But that's ok, because there are a million ways to look at one thing. Like many things in life :)

Ali & Mitch | Engaged!

Ali & Mitch! I'm looking forward to their wedding this October, not only because it'll be a wedding where I'm not sweating my butt off, but because Ali is one of the most genuine, whole hearted people you will ever meet and Mitch is always up for having fun.  These two combined will make for an amazing day, I'm sure!

Mitch found this nice little spot and suggested we take a few photos here...so glad he spoke up!

Only a few months to go!! Hope you're having fun with the final details :)

Ann & Andy | Rochester, NY Wedding Photographer

It's been a rainy, rainy summer...but that didn't phase Ann, even when it was pouring with thunder and lightening an hour before the ceremony.  Cool as a cucumber.  She walked into the back room at The Genesee Country Village, changed into her beautiful dress and walked out to the sun shining and the sky turning blue. *PHEW*.

The GCV is an amazing place to have a wedding.  Ann & Andy were married in one of the churches...beautifully lit and a perfect size for their 100 guests.

We took a few with the wedding party and then escaped with the two of them to do some bridal portraits, my favorite part of the day.  I love it because the bride and groom can take a breath and enjoy each other before the excitement continues :)

Ann grew up on a farm.  Apples are her favorite...it was only natural to include a few in the photos.

Take a peek at these shoes! The even made an appearance on the Better Together Events blog.

The speeches brought tears to everyone's eyes...the cake was perfection and the dancing was fun!

Thank you so much for including me on your wedding day! I wish you the best <3
